Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 25 October 2026

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the relationship between ReviewCue (“the Company”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) and the business or individual (“the Customer”, “you”, or “your”) purchasing products or services through reviewcue.co.uk (the “Website”).

1. Introduction & Acceptance of Terms

1.1. By accessing or using the Website, placing an order, or otherwise purchasing any Products from ReviewCue, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.

1.2. If you are purchasing on behalf of a business, you confirm that you have authority to bind that business to these Terms.

1.3. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Website or place an order.

1.4. We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in force will be the version displayed on the Website at the time you place your order.

2. Description of Products and Services

2.1. ReviewCue provides marketing technology solutions, specifically NFC-enabled and QR-coded review cards, stands, lanyards and stickers (“Products”). These Products are designed to help businesses request customer reviews by enabling end users to tap an NFC-enabled phone on a card or scan a QR code to open a web link.

2.2. Products may be configured to direct end users to third-party review platforms, including (without limitation) Google and Trustpilot, or to a choice of platforms depending on the Product purchased.

2.3. We provide the physical Product and the programming/configuration described on the relevant product page or order confirmation. Unless explicitly stated (including the Google Business Profile services in Clause 2.5), we do not provide marketing services, campaign management, or any guarantee of outcomes (such as a minimum number of reviews, ratings, or search ranking improvements).

2.4. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the Products (and the way you request reviews) complies with the applicable rules and policies of the relevant third-party platforms and with all applicable laws and regulations.

2.5. Google Business Profile services: Where you order a Google Business Profile audit or optimisation service, we will review your profile and provide or carry out the practical recommendations described when you order. Google decides how businesses rank on Search and Maps, so we cannot guarantee any ranking position, visibility or other result.

3. Customisation and Branding

3.1. ReviewCue offers fully custom branding options for Products.

3.2. The Customer is solely responsible for ensuring they have the legal right to use any logos, trademarks, or imagery provided to ReviewCue for customisation.

3.3. ReviewCue reserves the right to refuse any design that is deemed offensive, illegal, or in violation of third-party intellectual property rights.

3.4. Mockups: For customised Products we will prepare a digital mockup, usually from your logo, website or brand details, and send it to you for approval. Production starts only once you approve it. Please check names, spelling, colours and the review link carefully before approving.

3.5. Once a custom design is approved by the Customer or submitted for production, no further changes can be made.

4. Ordering & Payment (GBP)

4.1. Orders and contract formation: All orders placed through the Website constitute an offer to purchase. A legally binding contract is formed only when ReviewCue dispatches the Products and sends a shipping confirmation.

4.2. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for any reason, including (without limitation) stock unavailability, pricing errors, suspected fraudulent activity, or where you fail our verification checks. If we cancel an order after payment has been taken, we will refund you.

4.3. Pricing: All prices are listed in GBP (£) and are subject to change without notice. The price payable is the price shown at checkout at the time you place your order.

4.4. Payment: Payment must be made in full at the time of ordering through the secure Stripe payment link provided on the Website or sent to you. Card payments are processed by Stripe; we do not see or store your full card details.

4.5. VAT: Prices are exclusive of VAT unless otherwise stated. Where applicable, VAT will be shown at checkout and/or on your invoice/receipt.

4.6. Order details: You are responsible for ensuring your order details (including delivery address and any customisation details) are complete and accurate. We are not responsible for delays or issues caused by incorrect information provided by you.

5. Shipping & Delivery (Physical Products)

5.1. Where we ship: ReviewCue ships Products to addresses within the United Kingdom unless otherwise stated on the Website.

5.2. Dispatch and delivery times: Any dispatch or delivery dates provided are estimates only. We will aim to meet estimated timescales but do not guarantee delivery by a specific date.

5.3. Shipping costs: Delivery charges (if any) are shown on the Website or payment page before you pay. Where we state that delivery is free, no delivery charge applies.

5.4. Delivery delays: We are not liable for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control, including delays caused by third-party couriers or postal services.

5.5. Failed or missed delivery / incorrect address: If a delivery fails due to an incorrect address provided by you, refusal of delivery, or repeated failed delivery attempts, we may charge you for re-delivery and/or any costs we incur to retrieve the parcel.

5.6. Risk and ownership: Risk of loss or damage to the Products passes to you upon delivery. Ownership of the Products passes to you once we have received payment in full (including any delivery charges).

6. Returns & Refunds (14-Day Cooling-Off for Non-Custom Items)

6.1. Cooling-off period (non-custom items only): If you are a consumer (i.e., buying as an individual, not for business purposes), you have a legal right to cancel your order for non-custom Products within 14 days of receiving them (the “cooling-off period”), for any reason.

6.2. How to cancel: To cancel, contact us using the details in Section 13. Please include your order number and confirm which items you are returning.

6.3. Return condition (non-custom items): Returned non-custom Products must be unused, in their original condition, and (where possible) in their original packaging. You may handle the goods only to the extent necessary to establish their nature, characteristics, and functioning. If you handle the goods beyond this, we may reduce your refund to reflect any loss in value.

6.4. Return shipping costs: Unless the Products are faulty or we have supplied the wrong items, you are responsible for return shipping costs.

6.5. Refund timing: If your cancellation is accepted, we will refund the price paid for the returned non-custom Products and (where applicable) the standard outbound delivery cost, in line with consumer law. Refunds are processed using the original payment method, typically within 14 days of (a) receiving the returned Products or (b) you providing evidence of return, whichever is earlier.

6.6. Customised Products (no cooling-off right): In accordance with UK law, the right to cancel does not apply to bespoke/custom-made goods. Where Products are customised with your branding, artwork, or programmed/configured specifically for your business (including specific links/redirects), they are non-refundable unless they are damaged, defective, or not as described.

6.7. Faulty, damaged, or incorrect items: If Products arrive damaged, defective, or incorrect, you must notify ReviewCue as soon as reasonably possible and in any event within 7 days of delivery. We may ask for photos and order details to help assess the issue. Where a fault is confirmed, we will offer (as appropriate) a replacement, repair, or refund in line with your statutory rights.

6.8. Statutory rights: Nothing in these Terms affects your legal rights under applicable consumer protection law.

7. Third-Party Platforms (Google, Trustpilot, etc.)

7.1. ReviewCue provides the hardware to facilitate reviews but does not guarantee any specific increase in review volume, SEO ranking, or star ratings.

7.2. The Customer acknowledges that they must comply with the Terms of Service of the relevant review platforms (e.g., Google Business Profile Terms, Trustpilot Guidelines).

7.3. ReviewCue is not responsible for any account suspensions, review removals, or penalties imposed by third-party platforms resulting from the use of the Products.

8. Use of Technology

8.1. ReviewCue Products utilise NFC (Near Field Communication) and QR code technology.

8.2. While ReviewCue ensures that Products are programmed correctly at the time of shipping, we are not responsible for the compatibility of the Products with end-user hardware (e.g., older smartphone models without NFC capabilities).

9. Limitation of Liability

9.1. Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for: (a) death or personal injury caused by our negligence; (b) fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or (c) any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law.

9.2. Subject to Clause 9.1, to the maximum extent permitted by law, ReviewCue shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including (without limitation) loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, business opportunity, anticipated savings, or data, arising out of or in connection with the use of or inability to use the Products.

9.3. Subject to Clause 9.1, our total aggregate liability for any claim arising under or in connection with these Terms (whether in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty, or otherwise) shall not exceed the total price paid by you for the specific order giving rise to the claim.

9.4. You acknowledge that review platforms and third-party services are outside our control and we are not responsible for their availability, actions, or decisions (including removals of reviews, account restrictions, or policy enforcement).

10. Intellectual Property

10.1. All content on the Website, including text, graphics, logos, designs, photographs, and software, is the property of ReviewCue or its licensors and is protected by UK and international intellectual property laws.

10.2. Except as expressly permitted by law, you must not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, publish, display, or create derivative works from any Website content without our prior written permission.

10.3. Where you provide logos, trademarks, imagery, or other materials for customisation, you retain ownership of those materials. You grant ReviewCue a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce, and modify those materials solely for the purpose of fulfilling your order, producing the customised Products, and providing related customer support.

10.4. You warrant that materials you supply do not infringe third-party rights and that you have the right to grant the licence in Clause 10.3. You agree to indemnify ReviewCue for losses reasonably suffered as a result of a breach of this clause.

11. Data Protection

Your use of the Website and our processing of your data are governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

12. Governing Law

These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. The parties irrevocably agree that the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any such dispute.
